How to Count In Bahasa Indonesia

Hello, in today's topic we're going to learn about how to count in Bahasa Indonesia. I have recorded my voice so that you can follow along imitating my voice.

So without further ado, let's get started!

Counting From 1 to 10

Here we're going to count from 1 to 10.


One in Bahasa Indonesia is called satu. Two in Bahasa Indonesia is called dua. Three in Bahasa Indonesia is called tiga. Four in Bahasa Indonesia is called empat. Five in Bahasa Indonesia is called lima. Six in Bahasa Indonesia is called enam. Seven in Bahasa Indonesia is called tujuh. Eight in Bahasa Indonesia is called delapan. Nine in Bahasa Indonesia is called sembilan and ten in Bahasa Indonesia is called sepuluh.

So, let's make this more organized! I will write down below and you can start by saying all of these words. Okay?

1= Satu
2= Dua
3 = Tiga
4 = Empat
5 = Lima
6 = Enam
7 = Tujuh
8 = Delapan
9 = Sembilan
10 = Sepuluh

Counting From 10 to 20

Now, we go to the next numbers. So here are number 11 to 20 in Bahasa Indonesia.

11 = Sebelas
12 = Dua belas
13 = Tiga belas
14 = Empat belas
15 = Lima belas
16 = Enam belas
17 = Tujuh belas
18 = Delapan belas
19 = Sembilan belas
20 = Dua puluh

Counting From 20 to 30

Now, we go to the next numbers. So, here we are counting from 20 to 30 in Bahasa Indonesia.

21 = Dua puluh satu
22 = Dua puluh dua
23 = Dua puluh tiga
24 = Dua puluh empat
25 = Dua puluh lima
26 = Dua puluh enam
27 = Dua puluh tujuh
28 = Dua puluh delapan
29 = Dua puluh sembilan
30 = Tiga puluh
