This phrase that I'm about to teach you will come in handy if you're traveling to Indonesia, and you want to take a picture of yourself. You can say this phrase,
Maaf. Bisa tolong fotoin saya?
[Maaf] here means [excuse me]. This is a polite way in the Indonesian language when you want to ask someone to do something. But in other cases [maaf] means [forgive me]. But in this case, we usually use [maaf] when we want to ask someone to help us out with something in a polite way.
